How it works
A clear route from enquiry to proposal
We act for property investors and explain the buyer, terms and responsibilities before you decide whether to proceed.
Two ways to sell
-
A straightforward purchase
An investor purchases the property in its current condition under terms agreed with you.
-
Improve first, then sell
An investor may fund and manage agreed works before an onward open-market sale. The amount due to you and all responsibilities are documented first.
Any proposal depends on the property, due diligence and agreed contractual terms.
How it works — three steps
-
Step 1: Tell us about your property. It takes two minutes
Share the address, property type and a short description.
-
Step 2: We review it and call you
Natalia looks at every enquiry personally.
-
Step 3: You receive a clear proposal
You decide, with no obligation.
Who we act for
Solid Basis acts on behalf of property investors who acquire property from owners.
The investor pays our fee. Depending on the agreed route, they may also cover agreed works. The precise structure is property-specific and recorded in writing.
The buyer’s identity, the price, payment timetable and each party’s responsibilities are documented by solicitors before the sale proceeds or work begins.
Questions owners ask
Do I need to repair or clear the property first?
No. Tell us about it as it is.
Do I pay you anything?
No. Our fees are paid by the investors we act for. The precise fee structure is confirmed for each transaction.
What if my property needs major work?
We may propose funding and managing the works, then selling on the open market. The amount due to you and the contractual terms are agreed before work begins.
Who is the buyer?
You’ll know exactly who the buyer is, and each party’s role, before anything is agreed.
Is there an obligation?
None. You decide whether to go ahead.
Which areas do you cover?
Properties across England.
